An innovative producer, musician, composer and arranger based in Brixton, South London.

Alex brings a unique combination of contemporary and traditional influences to his music and productions. Having received a first-class degree in Professional Sound Production and a first-class Cert H.E in Jazz Guitar from the Academy of Contemporary Music, Alex combines his love for electronic music, harmony and sound design to create exciting and original soundscapes and productions.

Alex has composed and produced music for BBC documentaries, award-winning films, major commercial labels (including Universal and Warner) and promotional videos for world-renowned brands like Nike and HSBC. He approaches his work with a versatile mindset and has worked on projects which span the genre spectrum, from electro-pop productions to classical guitar compositions.

Having been based at Tileyard London as a Studio and Technical Manager for four years, Alex has an in-depth knowledge of commercial studio practice and audio engineering and has worked on recording sessions for a number of established artists including Sam Smith, Sigala, Ella Eyre and Jax Jones among others.

In addition to his technical work, Alex has considerable experience composing, arranging, orchestrating, and editing scores and has worked on film and television compositions with ensembles ranging from 40-piece orchestras to string quartets. This has led to projects with the likes of Spitfire Audio, working on their ‘BBC Symphony Orchestra Library’ and ‘Cello Quartet’ sample packs.

As a session musician, Alex has acted as a musical director, guitarist, keyboard player and bassist for several artists such as Ms Banks, Charlotte OC, Samantha Harvey, Mega, and Carrie Baxter, playing shows across Europe and the US. This has included directing full band festival gigs at South by South West Festival in Texas, playing acoustic sessions live on German radio in Berlin and performing at many of London's most celebrated venues such as King’s Place and Cadogan Hall.
